Reincarnation or Single Life Supersoul?

A good friend of mine Ian Lawton's latest book, Supersoul, considers alternatives to the conventional idea of linear or simultaneous reincarnation.
Here's an overview for discussion:

I think he has confused the info that he tapped into.

Each "supersoul" does have many simultaneous incarnations. The error comes when one thinks as those incarnations as continuations or extensions of the physical self that they know. So he is correct that " each of us is formed from a unique combination of traits and personality ingredients" There is however no precession and no "taking of traits from other souls." There is interconnection and influence going in all directions.

100% agreement and concurrence.
It must suck to agree 100% with erroneous concepts.

lol. Okay calm down. Yes . . who am I to say that it's erroneous. Well . . I'm me and I'm saying that ;) but that isn't the point I was poking you about. The point is that agreement is irrelevant. So is disagreement. People love to express both as if it confers actuality or not about anything. Yet the only meaning either has is to help show how the person perceives and what beliefs they have in play.

Based on my own experience he gets it exactly right. We are each a multiplicity of spirits with a linked identity. During my big experience I was given profiles for the individual spirits within a single individual. After that I could recognise which "voice" was speaking.

P.S. The more interesting discovery was that those individual psychic entities are file-shared. They are not unique to the individual and they don't wait till death to be recycled - they operate within multiple people simultaneously. Try and suck that one up!

What a bunch of New Age garble.

I don't know how much a "matrix of souls" means much of anything. If you believe the NDE accounts of timeless spaces, and you consider our idea of time is just a way to categorize the "here-now" state of affairs over their transitional states… How do you define "parallel" or "linear" when those are based on an atomic clock, and you are asserting that an action is taking place outside of the physics that atomic clock operates in?

I called an individual construct a Matrix, and in a sense they are thematic with Jung's archetypes, and hence timeless. The revelation was something of a shock at the time and of great significance to what I was doing. To say you don't know that is means much of anything I find puzzling. I find it pretty central to the concept of how things work. The issue of immortality and the nature of consciousness seems a corner stone of most debates here. In our culture we think of people having one personality. Jung theorised each person had a type 1 and a type 2 personality - his mother's type 2 personality scared him. My experience is that a person has multiple personalities which operate in layers but which maintain a collective identity and hold in common the data of that person's experience. The different aspects are different psychic structures. Here's an example from one person. The first two personalities operated in tandem. When they were peeled back the third emerged. The second, the Matrix for the Profound is also a part of me, as are many others.

Matrix for the Deep
Rummage in the depths of the psyche – Feels discontented and neglected– Disturbed by others – Distances themselves – Driven by fear of the unknown – Self harm for attention – Driven by despair - Longing for love – Obsessive desire for renewal of life force- Tenacious self interest - Self actualisation.

Matrix for the Profound
Undermined by lack of resolve – Inner determination to overcome – coordination of psychic energy – capacity for transformation – healing forces unleashed –enhanced cognitive capacity – deterministic – derangement of senses (hyper-acute) – Tenacious – Obsessive – Brutally honest – Particular – A type of Seeker – Grounded inner understanding – capacity for higher thought – Broad spectrum of understanding

Matrix for the Kind Hearted Soul
Blessed with patience – Noble spirit – Sense of duty – Respect for the independence of others – Love of Jesus - Kindness – Deliberateness – Joy with change of season – Budding understanding of world around them in transformation – Sense of unity & purpose – Higher Seeker- Spirit filled.
