2014 Lecture on Quantum Biology by Johnjoe McFadden

Interesting lecture on Quantum Biology by Johnjoe McFadden from July 2014 entitled "Does Biology Need Quantum Mechanics?" at Imperial College London's Festival of Science. The hall is full of physicists, and there are plenty of referenced studies to get you thinking about QM and E/M fields etc.

You can skip forwards to 14:58 if you wish (after he gets past his introduction to QM - which I think is pretty poor), but the rest of the lecture after he gets back onto his home turf is very good. You might find it thought provoking.

I already like McFaddens CEMI theory, and I'm interested in his work investigating the link between mutation and Quantum Tunneling. He's a clever and interesting guy.
