Suzanne, please don't think of us as all being like Johnny. Fact is, you've come in at a late stage and possibly missed the earliest comments. I don't think Johnny should be posting here because it's a Mod+ thread, meaning that ideological sceptics shouldn't be posting here. Seeing as Johnny hasn't apologised for his last remark, let me apologise for him and ask him to cease posting on this thread.
My opinion is that there is evidence that many crop circles are hoaxes. But maybe not all of them, and if they aren't, then they're possibly an example of a class of phenomena that Berbardo Kastrup discusses in his book, Meaning in Absurdity. That is, phenomena that defy logical, causal explanation: another example might be what happened at Fatima when thousands of people observed the sun apparently change colour and rotate, something that was seen also many miles away.
Did Fatima happen? Did it not happen? True or false? Thing is, it might not be subject to true/false evaluation. I'm agnostic about it, and can say the same about some crop circles.
