It might sound a bit humorous - but what about the bureaucracy of death?
By reading some Asian - or it might have been Indian - NDE-stories where quite a number of them mention that in their NDE´s they were finding themselves in a situation which is best described as meeting a bureaucrat of the "next world" who is looking through some scrolls and/or books and telling them that there must have been a mistake somewhere. Because according to their lists they are not supposed to die that day, and that they have to go back. And then they feel, the same as "ordinary" NDE´rs, that they get sucked back into life again.
But if one think about it, there is around 200 000 - 300 000 deaths in the world on a "normal" day, which mean the afterlife must be pretty organised, don't you think? One might say that in a dimension where time is not linear, or even a concept, things might flow a lot easier in their "bureaucracy" of handling everyone. But in any case, even in "our" (western world) NDE´s there is obviously a sort of mishap in the "bureaucracy of the afterlife", which makes it a bit humorous thinking of it as a big office dealing with souls arriving at the "wrong" time, and has to be dealt with. So, as a sort of lighter and humours look at it, do you think there is an "office" for this? And if so, can one make a complaint about their handling of the situation? :)
