CONTROVERSIAL THEORY SAYS EXPANSION OF UNIVERSE IS DRIVEN BY QUANTUM FLUCTUATIONS—NOT DARK ENERGY

IMO I liked the idea better than the "let's add some more fields until everything cancels out" of QFT.
However, I have my reservation since their semiclassical approach is different from the usual. And the fact that, by simply chainging <T_ij> for Tij, they obtained very different predictions. Also, the paper is just the "outline" of they ideia, they didn't estimate the value of Lambda to see if they actually match (this will probably be a huge problem since they need to perform the same calculations involving a plethora of more complicated fields).

I find odd that no famous high energy physics blog (Sean Carroll, Lubos Motl etc) commented anything about this paper after more than one week.
