That's understandable, I don't think you're the only one to do so.
I'm not fishing for more details here, merely speculating on a possible meaning. I wonder whether the dream was a kind of alert that you needed to take extra care. Or maybe it was simply that the unusual 'real' scenario made a big enough impact to project an 'echo' into the dream.
Another, more subtle meaning is that when one has a dream with a clear correlation to actual events, it can be a trigger to start taking more notice of other dreams which might carry other messages.
On a personal note, I tend to find wisdom and sage advice in my own dreams, though wrapped in a symbolic language. But what is perhaps taking this a step further, sometimes events in real life can play out in a strange way, which can in itself be interpreted in the language of dreams, perhaps one scenario shedding light and understanding on another completely unrelated aspect of one's life.
But I'm moving away from precognition here - sorry about that.
