Obviously these sorts of things are open to criticism and accusations of bias (see critique of Dennet's Breaking the Spell by cognitive scientist Amin Geertz).

I think it might make for good discussion material nonetheless, as we'll likely see some challenges to this from theist camps, other academics, etc.
I've noticed that you often use the word "religion" as a perjorative term to disparage a worldview with which you disagree (or fear). I find that very interesting.

Pretty sure I've made as many, if not more, defenses of religion as I have attacks against it?

Your own biases against religion outside naturalist evangelism - for example all your insults towards Islam - might be coloring your perception here?
