The microbiome-brain connection

It doesn't upset me. Just because I call something horse shit doesn't mean it upsets me. If anything, I'm really quite blah about it.
Just a thought. Perhaps in the future you should not using such inflammatory wording as "materialistic science" and "horse shit" Such words convey a state of emotion well beyond intention, thereby avoiding misreadings, that is of course, you are upset.


But gut bacteria explaining consciousness? GTFO. If that's the case then humans really do have shit for brains.
This research is focused on how gut bacteria might influence behaviors etc.:
"The big question right now is how the microbiome exerts its effects on the brain,"
It says nothing of consciousness. The 2nd link focused on Taxoplasmosis, is also suggestive of bacteria influencing human behavior. It's interesting that billions of little bacteria just might be telling us what to do sometime.
