Trump Consciousness

That might be a fair argument, except that you know that both Jim and I, and most Trump supporters are anti-war.

Trump isn’t anti war. He’s a bully. The reason for that is a huge ego that doesn’t care a jot for anyone but ‘Trump the story’.
I believe you’re fooling yourself thinking otherwise.

hypocrisy (when exposed) renders all opinions from the source or from"the side" nothing but noise. To determine which "side" is the best worst choice (because they are all terrible choices), one simply has to measure the amplitude of the noise and how long that noise lasts.

FLASHBACK, October 18, 2016 | Obama to Trump: "Stop Whining," "No Serious Person" Believes U.S. Elections Can Be Rigged Or Stolen

This story was originally posted on RCP Video on October 18, 2016: In a press conference a few weeks before the 2016 election, President Barack Obama told Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump to "stop whining" about the possiblity that the election could be "rigged," saying that there is no evidence that election rigging has ever happened or could ever happen.

"There is no serious person out there who would suggest that you could even rig America's elections, in part because they are so decentralized. There is no evidence that that has happened in the past, or that there are instances that that could happen this time," the president said to the future president in October 2016.

"Democracy survives because we recognize that there is something more important than any individual campaign, and that is making sure the integrity and trust in our institutions sustains itself. Becasue Democracy works by consent, not by force," Obama said.

"I have never seen in my lifetime or in modern political history, any presidential candidate trying to discredit the elections and the election process before votes have even taken place. It is unprecedented. It happens to be based on no fact. Every expert regardless of political party... who has ever examined these issues in a serious way will tell you that instances of significant voter fraud are not to be found. Keep in mind elections are run by state and local officials."

"That is both irresponsible and, by the way, doesn't really show the kind of leadership and toughness you'd want from a president," he also said. "You start whining before the game is even over? If whenever things are going badly for you and you lose, you start blaming somebody else. Than you don't have what it takes to be in this job."

"And if he gets the most votes, it would be my expectation of Hillary Clinton to offer a gracious concession speech and pledge to work with him in order to ensure that the American people benefit from an effective government. And it would be my job to welcome Mr. Trump, regardless of what he has said about me, or my differences with him, and escort him over to the Capitol at which there would be a peaceful transfer of power. That is what Americans do. That is why America is already great. One way to make it less great, is if you start betraying those basic American traditions that have been bipartisan and have helped to hold together this democracy now for well over two centuries."

"So I'd advise Mr. Trump to stop whining, and go make his case to get votes," the president said strongly
.

Comment:
Ever since the election, the noise from the left has never stopped. The amplitude of this noise has exceeded the capacity of all measurement devices. The fact of the deeply embedded syndrome (TDS) predicts this will never, ever stop. Ultimately, in a reality dominated by physicality, physical force will eventually take center stage as the left will never, ever stop.

[ fill in your blank ] help us all.

Of course he is anti-war, Hillary could have started three in the time Trump has been in power - look at her record! Maybe you have to bully a bit to avoid war, but honestly which do you prefer?

David

Its no surprise that you respond to my lone post in this manner. That’s the sickening bias some of us are all too aware of David.
Can you see it too, or not? I’d be genuinely interested in your answer.
To be really honest, I am amazed more of you aren't pro-Trump, so no I don't see the bias, but in any case you are all free to pump out as much anti-Trump views as you wish, but I'd still like to suggest that we wind up this thread once he has been acquitted (probably Wednesday evening) and maybe save it till the build-up to the election in the Autumn.

David

I'd like to suggest that once President Trump is acquitted, we collectively let this thread cool a bit.

David

In my opinion it would be better to make a general rule for the forums and apply it to all threads and all posters. If you make a special rule for some threads in response to how people post then you are giving power to "activists" to control the forum and censor other members arbitrarily.

If you think I am posting too much, configure the software to limit the maximum number posts anyone can make in a day.

If you think people are being impolite in how they post then make a rule enforcing politeness. Or, if certain people are incapable of controlling their emotions then they could be restricted from posting to a thread.

I don't think it is fair to make arbitrary rules, it is a form of collective punishment affecting people who are not the cause of the problem.

One of the things I find fascinating about this thread how people use their imaginations to interpret my posts. They have an opinion and in the absence of information they use their imagination to create a reality that matches their opinions. It confirms my belief that most people not rational and are living a state of hysteria. People make assumptions all the time and don't know when they are making an assumption and when they are understanding a fact. I suggest if people want to reply to my posts they should limit themselves to whether they agree with it or not, and why, and provide facts and links to support their opinion. When you say anything about me you are only demonstrating to me that to you are hallucinating and are not rational.

Why mention Hillary? I’m talking about Trump. Desperate to distract?

He is not a peace-loving man imo.

So says a citizen of the country that spends more money on war than any other, by a huge margin. As my google search reveals:
Of course what you say is true, but it is no use blaming Trump for what has built up over 75 years or so. He has to start where he is, including the trouble makers, some of whom are still embedded in the US government. Just think for a moment about those who authorised and probably assisted in those fake gas attacks - some of which probably involved the use of some sort of noxious gas against civilians to create the videos. He has had to step very carefully to stay alive and in office and avoid being tricked into war by crazy, pathological lunatics like that.

Why mention Hillary?
Well because Trump was instrumental in ensuring that that war-monger didn't become president! Without him, we would have her in charge - would you like that?

This is laughable. Many of your “pathological lunatics“ were people Trump chose Ffs. Bolton, Pence and Pompeo to name but three.

Alice Johnson was sentenced to serve life in prison for a nonviolent drug offense.
Thanks to President Trump, people like Alice are getting a second chance.

"I'm free to hug my family. "
"I'm free to start over. "
"It's the greatest day of my life."

Politicians talk about criminal justice reform.
President Trump go it done.

"My heart is just bursting with gratitude."

Thousands of families are being reunited.

"I want to thank President Donald John Trump. [Cheers] Thank you Thank you."

Just for you, Steve.

Thanks for that Sam. I hadn’t heard of her before seeing this.

Trump knows that the voters are anti-war, enough of them to vote him out if he started another conflict, this is his first term and he will be being cautious. I think his overriding motivation is keeping these voters onside. Lets see if he wins another term. If he maintains his relatively peaceful record (by US standards), I may well be forced into tipping my hat.

What do many of the ‘crazy, pathological lunatics’ mentioned by David have in common? They are big supporters of Israel.

“Mike Pence and Mike Pompeo, who urged Trump to kill Qassem Soleimani, are ardent proponents of Christian Zionism.”

https://newrepublic.com/article/156166/pence-pompeo-evanglicals-war-iran-christian-zionism

John Bolton and Adam Schiff support Israel too. Kim Iversen thinks that Trump is relatively independent, that he is not bound to the military industrial complex or industry as are so many others. However, she, like nearly all commentators, mainstream or otherwise, is willing to overlook his ties to Israel. He has close ties with Israel and this ought to be a big concern to all of us, it certainly does me. There is no bigger threat to world peace than Israel imo. Trump may well appear to be America First, but such a policy will no doubt be filtered to make sure that it does no harm to Israel before going forward.

To me, suffering and pain are similar for almost all humans. A mother’s suffering at the death of her child is basically no different in Syria or Beijing as it is in England or California. I know that most of us in the West think we are superior to other peoples. We are not. We in the West have become ‘softer‘ than those elsewhere, the harsh realities of life for those born in poor countries should not mean that we are better than them - we were simply born into very different systems.

I think Trump is better for most people than Hillary would have been. That doesn’t mean that he is the type of leader that we should aspire to, or be happy with. It seems to me we are going backward instead of forward in our choice of leaders. Because Jimmy Dore is highly critical of the democrats, doesn’t make him a Trump fan! I’m the same. I will probably not vote in a General election again, having become totally disillusioned by all parties.

Another thing that I picked up Joe Rogan saying while interviewing Jimmy Dore, that I totally agree with, is that we should get away from calling (my example) a violent person who punched someone a name that can deflect somewhat from the act itself. A Nazi, Antifa, Right wing, left wing etc. They should be judged on their actions as standing alone. It is what I’ve been thinking for some time. What really counts, what we really know, are the way we act and experience things - not what we think. It’s a cutting away of the thinking, most of the mind bullshit. Rather than say Steve favours the left side of politics, as is generally true. Say Steve is generally anti - war. (I read AP’s rant). Steve generally favours socialism over Capitalism. Steve doesn‘t understand this whole trans-gender thing. Steve favours forgiveness. Steve probably is in favour of locking a small percentage of people up for life, life should mean dying in prison. And so on.

I know Steve can be shot full of holes. We all can.

Steve certainly doesn’t think much of being reported to the moderator because he writes a pm to an individual, where he both criticises (swears at) and praises the individual. He would much rather have a frank, grown up exchange of views with them, he has never reported anyone to the moderator (afaicr) and is relatively ok with being sweared at :). Steve is no fan of cry wolf victims and crocodile tears.

See 2:04:00, where Joe talks about individuals. There are more, possibly better examples of him saying this in his other JD interviews.
