Today i was listening to BBC radio. I think it was BBC 5 Live which was playing on BFBS 2 which is a British Forces radio station. Anyway there was this guy who from what i gathered was an ex FBI dude who must have been pretty high ranked. When i tuned in they where talking about 'truth' and how it can be subjective, objective etc. All good so far. Then he went on to say that the storming of the Capitol building needed to be investigated, as in how were demonstrators so easily allowed in etc. Again made sense. Personally my assessment and gut would be saying that yes Trump wanted his supporters making a lot of noise outside the building while things where being debated and voted on inside but it was the Biden camp that let them in as well as sending instigators down there to rile people up. Anyway so the way this guy is talking obviously i could tell he was pro Biden and co but he seemed to be talking quite logically. Just before the dumbest thing i think any investigator could say he says 'for example if i'm sitting in a room and i tell you it is raining, obviously it's not, so that is a blatant lie*'. So i'm thinking ok you could argue that someone got the word rain confused with heavy humidity (esp if english wasnt their first language) or was said in a way/tone that that the word rain is used but heavy humidity is meant etc. Basically though i got his point, fair enough. He then said 'A truth that we must never surrender is that Joe Biden won the election*' ..... Lets all put our political views, wishes etc aside.. take a deep breath.. now lets think. A 150 odd million votes have been collected and tallied, a large percentage from mail-in ballots. A HUGE logistical operation if there ever was one with large numbers of individuals involved in that operation whether in the postal service, vote counting at numerous tallying centers spanning half a contintent and beyond, not to mention that the vote counting was done by machines (crazy idea if you ask me) which i dont know if are connected to the internet but definately have software. From the minute you have software that opens up the possibility to hacks, software backdoors etc, etc. Even after YEARS of investigation any good investigator (remember he is an investigator not a emotional political supporter) would have to concede that there could be something that hasn't come to light or that has been hidden or covered up, particularly in such a massive logistical operation than involves software on top of that. 'A truth that we must never surrender is that Joe Biden won the election*' WOW is all i can say. If that is the attitude, how can anyone trust that the election has or will ever be investigated properly (or anything else for that matter)?
*the two quotes mentioned may be very slightly out as in the odd adverb or something but potray exactly what he said
