    Reasons for banning individuals

@David Bailey I happened to look in on the forum today, (which I still occasionally do) and I saw that you mentioned me so it's only right that I state this. Unfortunately, what you've written there is simply not correct but I can't be bothered trying to explain the facts of what occurred and...

    Chimpamzee Funeral Rites.

What it "proves beyond doubt" is that Chimpanzees are just the same as us and because they can't have a soul, neither can we. Is that about right, Malf ? ;)

The brain is not dead when the cortex is dead.

That's bullsh#t ! Again, disgraceful boll@cks, Max. I will not comment again on this thread.

The brain is not dead when the cortex is dead.

: Are you having me on, Max ? That section you've posted above is BEFORE the section I posted. After the section you've just posted he then states this : @34.49 We also know that the deeper brain structures are not functioning because we know that all the brain stem reflexes are absent...

The brain is not dead when the cortex is dead.

Rubbish ! He doesn't side step anything, he specifically deals with the interviewer's question on whether there could be some brain activity somewhere to account for this. Stop posting crap, Max ! Sam Parnia @34.49 We also know that the deeper brain structures are not functioning because we...

The brain is not dead when the cortex is dead.

Has that tiny effect on one rodent entered the textbooks on human brain physiology ? YES or NO ?

The brain is not dead when the cortex is dead.

Yes it does and I've provided the quotes that you requested, Max. You are simply being evasive, refusing to accept facts that don't serve your agenda.. I've already explained to you that one tiny effect on one rodent's brain is not going to cause the text books to be re-written. Facts should...

Have you read through this thread ? I've explained it in detail ad nauseum, Lets Eat.

Leslie Kean, Investigative Journalist Tackles Survival After Death |342|

I'm not surprised, Nelson. The so called 'sceptics' (they are not real sceptics at all, they are ideologically driven phoneys) will resort to any tactics to discredit NDE research. They will smear the evidence, try to discredit the researchers and tell bare faced lies. The best example of this...

The brain is not dead when the cortex is dead.

No, Max.....sigh... for some reason you don't seem to be able to get this, it's so simple, (I do believe even Malf will be able to grasp it) . With a damaged brain stem there is still blood flowing up into the brain. That flow can produce brainwaves of some type. In cardiac arrest, there is...

The brain is not dead when the cortex is dead.

Thanks for sticking that up, Max. Unwittingly however you've just demonstrated that you don't understand the crux of the matter here. Those patients with severe damage to their brainstems (that the article refers to) (and therefore able to be predicted brain dead) still have a beating heart. So...

The brain is not dead when the cortex is dead.

No they are not. Although EEG is mentioned, they know by previous studies and also by loss of brain reflexes (eyes ears throat) that in cardiac arrest, the whole of the brain goes down including the deep structures. The brain stem is the deepest of them all and if that's down, everything is down.

The brain is not dead when the cortex is dead.

All you're doing is being deliberately evasive, Max. You said > I would be extremely surprised to find that Fenwick, Van Lommel, or Parnia state that globally, all electrical activity in the brain ceases after 20 sec's of Cardiac arrest, because that is incorrect. And I've posted the...

Leslie Kean, Investigative Journalist Tackles Survival After Death |342|

Thanks, Smithy. Her description is even more detailed than previously told. For instance she said she actually tried to communicate with Camilla M (the cardiovascular surgeon) I'm not going to say too much more about it but anyone who reads that and tries to suggest that it's some kind of...

The brain is not dead when the cortex is dead.

Dr Peter Fenwick The flat electroencephalogram (EEG), indicating no brain activity during cardiac arrest, and the high incidence of brain damage afterwards both point to the conclusion that the unconsciousness in cardiac arrest is total. You cannot argue that there are ‘‘bits’’ of the brain...

The brain is not dead when the cortex is dead.

Max. I can't believe I have to start posting this stuff again. Sorry but no. No brainstem, no nothing. Dr Peter Fenwick, one of the world's leading NDE researchers summarizing 30 years of research - a fundamental overview of scientific findings. Attempts to Understand Cardiac Arrest NDEs So...

The brain is not dead when the cortex is dead.

One tiny effect in one rodent, Max I'm not claiming anything, I'm not an expert but Dr Peter Fenwick, Dr Van Lommel and Dr Sam Parnia are entitled to state this fact because it has been demonstrated and is demonstrable through simple logical tests on the reflexes of the brain after cardiac...
