Scole Experiments and the future of mediumship studies

This is quite an amazing statement.
"People with paranormal predisposition tend to be flawed more than people with no paranormal predisposition".

Statements like this go beyond Cognitive bias. You are now well into Cognitive Dissonance. You are starting from a position where you believe you already know the answer and to change that answer and your beliefs you are going to require the "Alien landing on the Whitehouse and shaking the presidents hand" type of evidence.

Isn't Science about stripping back your beliefs to nothing so that you can look at all evidence without bias? Build your hypothesis and then test it and test it? Not stick to only 1 hypothesis and come up with ways of discrediting evidence that doesn't fit it whilst allowing in evidence that does.
Yes, the usual heads I win, tails you lose stuff. Remove every opportunity for a phenomenon to occur, undermine serious analysis, and declare there's nothing to see. If they're not taking the piss, they're barking mad.
