I wasn't sure if Alex was going to post a link to this episode considering he didn't take much of the spot light on the mic, per se.

I wanted to report back on my take, especially to make sure that those who have strong interest in NDE's give it a listen, keeping in mind the significance of podcasting endeavors of the heavy hitters involved. Specifically, awareness for the NDE people and their accounts.

IMO, there's no way the hosts realize how expert level this was handled. The show included (didn't count) at least 15 people sharing, some with experience, some with insight, and some guiding the process. In the 2hrs 42min, not a single communication break down. This gives me an almost eerie feeling that there is major significance here. If I run with my feeling, I would say that this is the work of turning people away from the loosh-bandits, and toward genuine love about which we're supposedly on this planet to learn.

Example: Two ladies had a back and forth - share and reaction.
(I'm very sorry I don't know who was whom. But you'll know if you've heard the episode)
Woman A - Explained how her NDE empowered her and enabled her to spread hope, encouragement and build energy... and discussed how we're here to gain experience and went on to label the earth-life experience a playground for learning.
Woman B - Expressed a need to portray an opposing view, mentioning that suicidal experience, ideation, after effects, had caused her extended ongoing periods of torment, and that the language 'playground' was inappropriate, or at least insensitive.
Woman A - Responded with love, explaining that the energizing encouraging view is how the healing happens, etc..
My point being, this interaction happened with ZERO breakdown in listening-with-the-heart. They disagreed, but they stayed working together on the topic.
I hope everyone involved can see what I see that happened here: We had (in real time) someone who's experience was that of having been rocketed through the spiritual healing process, and she was making strong connection while disagreeing with someone who's spiritual healing process seems to be more Earth based ( meaning putting most of the work in the area of Earthly struggles, strife, and the meaning battle).
Normally, with all other types of spiritual and religious experiences, these two people would assume the other person is misunderstanding their own experience. But instead they remained open minded and receptive.
I hope this aspect gets noticed. I think this is directly due to the members involved who held space for moments exactly like this one. And I'm glad I got to listen.

In all, There were a few times when I was itchin' to hear Alex jump in and steer things a bit, but then quickly reminded myself of the level of experience and expertise that was at work, and working together.

In the episode, one of the hosts made a point to give credit to Alex, saying (paraphrasing) 'everything i know about NDE's came from listening to Alex over the last six years...'

Hope you guys enjoy it and find in it as much significance as I did.

-Rob

(Edit) - I just realized, my profile picture is from last year when I took, my girlfriend to Hollywood Comedy Store where I saw Sam Tripoli perform with Tim Dillon, and Duncan Trussell. I'll call it a synchronicity.
And I got to take a photo with Sam, And he's just as nice as he sounds.

Thanks Robbedigital - that is a fascinating discussion. Of course, I am broadly familiar with much of this stuff, but here are some highlights:

I was struck by the man who had an LSD trip and fell and died. So he had a confused LSD trip, followed by an NDE with the typical super-clear consciousness, followed by the tail end of his LSD trip after his heart had been restarted!

Another interesting comment was that woke people are suffering from a shortage of real suffering in their lives, so they are searching for things to suffer from. As I write that now, I am not certain if it was a political comment or a deeper observation.
